The Near-East community encompasses several vibrant neighborhoods including Mount Vernon, Nelson Park, Eastgate, Beatty Park, Olde Towne East, Old Oaks, Woodland Park, Driving Park, Franklin Park and Bryden Road. The Near-East has much to offer both residents and visitors including great restaurants, beautiful historic homes, art studios, Franklin Park Conservatory, active civic associations, and diverse communities.
